57 Years Of Warm Welcome And Counting…

It seems an awful long time ago when the original Windmill Health Centre opened in 1967 with Dr Gerald Bickler.  He was joined by Dr Somers and the health centre rapidly expanded to include 3 practices and 13 doctors at its peak.  Two practices left in 1989 to open up in Seacroft and Colton leaving Drs Bickler, Somers, Madan, Saffer and Roberts to continue practicing from the Windmill.  Although the health centre provided excellent care for its patients, the practice has outgrown the building and has now moved into purpose built new premises just around the corner on Whinmoor Way near Swarcliffe drive.

Since the retirement of the original senior partners, Drs Roberts, Gerrard,  Friend, Myers and Khan continued the partnership into the new century becoming a training practice.  They have been joined by Drs Sugarman and Bartholomew and more recently by Drs Carroll.  Dr Gerrard and Dr Roberts have now retired leaving the practice in the capable hands of Dr Friend, Myers, Khan, Sugarman and Bartholomew.
